MISSKIN
Back to Index  The 'MISSKIN' prefix was registered in 1968 and I started with a Blue Persian and a British Blue. I could visualise a British Shorthair Colourpoint and started to work to produce the colour in 1981 After outcrossing to get my carriers and working with Chris Boyd (Christy) and Pam Griffiths (Boadicat), in my first litter of colourpointed kittens in 1984 were Pr. Misskin Blue Bandit 40/2 and Misskin Contessa 40/8 I was also very lucky to be able to obtain Idlebeck Nicodemus 40/1 from Monica Acton as he was destined to go as a pet In 1987 Ch. Misskin Prize Guy 40/4 arrived followed in 1988 by Misskin Playboy. These lads lived up to their names and are in the background of not only the colourpointed but also the Chocolate and Lilac Selfs.
I was a committee member of SWCCC for 16 years and their Show Manager for 10 years, after a short break I was drawn back onto the Somerset Cat Club committee as Treasurer and have ran their show from the start 11 years with one year off and another year off in 2002.
Whilst I do not attend many shows the 'Misskin' prefix is well represented by many well known studs and appear in the background of many Chocolates, Lilacs and Colourpointed.

In 2006 I decided to venture into the Cinnamon and Fawn breeding program,  and am looking forward to importing from my very good friend Catherine in Paris, European Grand Champion Voodywalnut du Chene Landry, a super Chocolate boy carrying Cinnamon and Colourpoint.   Watch this space
